Who we are

A production house built on hope.

Tikvah (תִּקְוָה) is the Hebrew word for hope. We produce feature films in Indian languages such as Tamil and Malayalam, along with web series and long-form series for YouTube and Vimeo.

Our stories pass on what matters: faith, courage, compassion, integrity and the difference between right and wrong. We use new filmmaking tools, including AI, to show these values through characters children remember. We don't preach at children. We want them to know where they come from and still be curious about the rest of the world.

Why we exist

Children are more connected than ever, and more cut off from their heritage.

Algorithms and selective narratives now shape much of what young people learn about faith and history. We think every capable believer should use their skills to show children the full story.

Our Vision

To raise a generation that loves God, knows its heritage and holds its values with confidence. We want children to feel at home in their own story and to learn about other cultures without feeling that this takes something away from their own.

Our Mission

  • Turn Biblical stories into cinema with strong scripts and production values on par with mainstream entertainment.
  • Use AI and other new tools to build story worlds that were too costly to show on screen before.
  • Release in Indian and international languages so families everywhere can watch.
  • Make stories that last beyond trends and that children can return to as they grow.

What we do

Everything from first idea to final cut, in-house.

We write, design, animate and finish everything ourselves, for cinema screens and online platforms.
